New Brunswick to New York

Log Entry #14
Thursday September 3rd,  I crossed the Canadian  Border at Saint John taking the scenic route through Bangor Maine.
Following Route 2 almost to the New Hampshire border I camped for the night at Pleasant River Campground in West Bethel Maine.
Friday I was on my way to Lake Champlain and stopped in Essex Vermont at Franks BMW shop for a new front tire and oil change.
Great folks over there and they spiffed up the K-16 for the Adirondack run on Saturday.
Crossed Lake Champlain via the Essx-Charlotte ferry and headed into the Adirondack park toward Lake Placid.
The ride from the Ferry into Lake Placid was incredible!
The new Michelin up front made a big difference!
Camped in a New York State Park Friday night and got started early Saturday morning.
Another amazing ride that led me into a the small town of Inlet NY were I had a great pancake breakfast.
Made it all the way to Buffalo by 7:30pm!
Signed up for the "All American" tour of Niagara Falls for Sunday morning.
It was great to let somebody else drive for awhile!
Awesome tour - Bucket List Adventure!
Heading toward Gettysburg in the morning.
Crossing the border took awhile today.
Pleasant River is a private camp spot that is super clean.
Love this place!
These guys in Vermont are really laid back but know what they are doing.
I got lucky and drove right on to the Ferry just when I arrived!
20 minute ride but it was nice and cool on boat!
Very scenic ride from Lake Champlain towards New Hampshire.
Remnants from an Olympic event of the past in Lake Placid.
NY State camp had too many noisey people with barking dogs.
Pay back at 6:00am with a couple laps around camp on the K-16!
Lake Placid version of the Adirondack chair!
This is the time to ride the Adirondack mountain roads!
Interesting joint just leaving the Adirondack park.
I met Billy from Boston at a rest stop on the I-90 finishing his last leg of a 1000 mile Iron Butt run!
Cool character who loves his Honda 750 Nighthawk.
Billy got me pointed in the right direction towards Buffalo. My devil GPS had me a 180 degrees off.
His advice, Go West Young Man!
Can you find the rainbow?
The observation deck rising from the base of the falls!
We got wet...
When we approached Horseshoe Falls!
What a site to see!
