Mac's Big Lap - Equipment Selection and Preparation

Mac's Big Lap is a Blog Log of the day to day riding adventures of a recently retired Construction Superintendent.
My plan is to ride across the USA and parts of Canada on a 45 day journey to help me wind down from the routine that I have known for the last 42 years.
The goal is to enjoy the adventure and share some of the more interesting stories, places and people with my friends and family.

Here we go!
The K-16 is the right tool for this job. We've made a few slight ergonomic adjustments, lowered the rider pegs by 25mm, added a Sargents seat with backrest, installed Alt Rider crash bars, and upgraded to the Nav 5 gps.
New P4 Michelin's are scrubbed and we're ready to ride.
Picked August 12 for the departure date!
Let's wake up the Beast!
Map Table at Kate's Kitchen. I'll have Cornmeal Pancakes with Eggs Poached Please!
Ready for a little test ride to Nova Scotia. Should be home in time for dinner. (In 45 days)
Waiting for new "Meats"

  1. Nice preparation! Would you like a fruit plate and coffee to go with your breakfast order? Hope you are a big tipper!😉
